Having decided I wanted to make a movie, or rather an amateur documentary about cave diving, I started to write down some scenes I'd like to shoot. And before I knew it, I found myself wondering about screenwriting terminology and format.
So once again, I got Google to spew out a heap of links. One of which led me to Celtx, a basic but nevertheless very practical tool for managing and organizing a movie project.
Celtx for example auto-formats my script while I write it; allows me to keep track of tasks & events in an incorporated calendar; lets me describe locations, specify cameras, scribble notes, bookmark relevant websites, etc. Everything I guess which has anything to do with producing a movie. And all that totally free for download!
