From recreational to technical diver

From March 1997 till September 1998 I worked as a dive guide and scuba instructor for Aktun Dive Center, based near Chemuyil at first and later on in Tulum, Quintana Roo, Yucatán Peninsula, Mexico.

During these 18 months I slowly found my way from open water into darkness, learning a lot from cave diving guru Steve Gerrard a.o.
